Georgia on my mind.

For those of you who may not know Chris was invited for an interview for PA school at Emory University in Georgia. We had a crazy time getting him there but he made it to Georgia, and felt like he did really well on his interview. (Yeah Chris!) They were really impressed with his Spanish and the fact that he has managed to balance a full time job, school, and a family. (as am I) We are anxiously awaiting to see if they are going to accept him. As for now, we have Georgia on our minds. (And this beautiful health science building where Chris could be spending a good part of the next two years) Thanks to all who have helped us get this far!

So this is one of the White Elephant gifts that we gave this year. I called it the "Gaypron" (with accessories). And the lucky recipient..... My cute niece Hailey. I told her that she looked like a Stepford wife in these pictures. Hope you enjoy.

Letters to Santa

Our City Youth Council is doing a service project for Christmas. They have set up a mailbox in the post office and are taking letters and personally delivering them to Santa. Santa then writes you a response to your letter. I thought Jack might like to send Santa a letter so we (I) sat down and wrote a letter for Jack. I figured that Santa can see through all of that "I have been SO SO good this year" so we took a different approach... The truth (or close to). It went something like this.....

Dear Santa,

My name is Jack David Partridge. I am 4 years old. I have been moderately good this year. I have only complained a little and I haven't taken my little sister's toys for a while. (mostly because I am not interested in them anymore.) I have 3 cavities which is pretty good considering I have 18 teeth to take care of. I do help my mom unload the dishwasher, and I eat all of my vegetables. So, if you are not too busy on Christmas Eve I would really love some Bendaroos (as seen on T.V.). Thanks in advance. I can't wait until Christmas!

Sunday Fun

Today we made a pretty sweet Gingerbread house. And since Jack has been so good about eating his fruits and veggies he had a little visit from Mr. Hankey. What a lucky boy!

We also have learned a new very special lesson. Don't leave your kids unattended.
